 | Company introduction:
We are a small and dynamic export company involved in renewable energy business with annual triple digit growth. Our core product is solar modules. To strengthen our sourcing team we are looking for a motivated young professional Purchaser with experience to join our international team. This position should lead to Purchasing Manager within a year if the candidate has the right skills. Experience in solar is not necessary but you should have experience as a buyer and/or qualifications in the sourcing process.
Job requirements:
- be able to carry out products studies to gain deep understanding of all the aspects of the product (quality weakness/technical data/certification/competitiveness/ benchmarking...).
- be able to have managers directives applied without anyone’s help
- be comfortable with the telephone. While in office you are expected to spend most of the time on the phone negotiating terms and conditions with factories.
- be meticulous and able to point out the most insignificant problems and report efficiently to the managers
- be able to write and speak English is imperative; each QC or product study will be followed by a comprehensive report that has to be written in English
- be able to use Windows Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook…) is a must
- basic graphic design would be appreciated (Photoshop, Illustrator…)

- pro-active (takes initiatives)
- detail orientated and very organised
- autonomous, independent
- self-confident & good communication skills
Profile:
- Job only available for Chinese natives
- Experience in products sourcing
- no prior QC experience is required
- good English is a must, French and other languages a plus
- knowledge of international business & logistics is a plus
